Midjourney Alpha for stock image finder

I have been using Midjourney for quite some times now and have been generating more than thousand of images. Therefore I was eligible for Midjourney Alpha (2024).

Midjourney Alpha does not operate within a Discord app, but they are now running via browser, which is a way better thing. Faster access and no more unskippable Discord update every time I open the app.

The Alpha version is great and rich of functional feature. No more needing to type /imagine every time I start a prompt for image generation. Image galeries by other users are full of insight and examples and so much easier to copy the prompt including the images for next image generation.

But one thing that has been pretty useful for me is the search bar. On the public gallery, I can search images that had been generated by others. This is wonderful, because in most of my case, the generated images are great and I do not need to waste my time genersting the same topic or theme. I can use them in my projects instantly. In many occasions, I find that the images are way better in context and artistic quality than those I try to find in traditional stock image website. It is easy to see why. The traditional stock image are manually curated and take so much time for being online. Say, like 2 to 4 weeks and even longer, to get accepted. Let alone some revisions needed. While the Midjourney gallery images are made instantly, though without curation, of course.

This gallery is the best answer after a long time I am so limited with resource provided by stock photo websites. Midjourney also comes up with so much cheaper price compared to those stock websites, which is another great deals.

Sure thing, I haven't read the commercialization here. This is the thing I need to look further if more serious commercial project is involved.
