About Me

Hello, I am Herry Sucahya, the creator of this website. 

I am a freelance digital artist and graphic designer from Bali. I have been working in this industry since 2011. I earned my skill completely by self-taught. I was not graduated from any formal art or design school as my last formal education was actually from English Language Education of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. During my college times, I spare my time learning Photoshop and other graphic software as well as a little bit of art and design fundamental theory, independently. Of course, thanks to the internet as the source of my learning and a place to share my skills to help to grow my artistic taste.

I started design projects by helping close friends and then my work started to gain attention from other people and potential clients that would work with me in the near future. I work with various people from small businesses, start-ups, government institutions, non-profit organization, to internationally big brands such as Nissan, Volkswagen and Suzuki.

I write this now in 2021, as the pandemic Covid-19 is still roaming around the world. Commercial projects are a bit in a dip down just like all other businesses, but I actually find this is a great opportunity to do something else that I actually dreamt of in the past due to my regular tight deadlines: sharing tips or tutorials. With many free times available these days, it is a great time to readjust my time for more sharing. I have been doing design projects for now nearly 10 years. I have learned so much technically. I would give back to the community and people that may just start their design works. This is the reason why I build this blog. I also take this as an exercise of my writing skill as I rarely write long posts now (but that was my regular activity back when I was in the English Language education, haha). 

So I hope you enjoy my tutorials and my some other thoughts here.
