As a graphic designer, I don't really need a fancy mouse as a daily drive. A simple two button mouse with a scroll wheel, is enough.
Sure thing, I never used expensive mouse such as Logitech MX, as I do not justify the price. For years, I work with basic mouse and did the job done pretty well. After all, I use pen tablet as well for some illustrative work.
Also, I do not do gaming with mouse (and keyboard). For this purpose, I only use controller.
The only important consideration when buying for the next mouse for me is; 1). Silent click, because I do not like making noise when working at night. 2) Durable. 3). Preferably wireless because cable is a mess on my desk.
My budget for mouse, is never above Rp200K or roughly US$12. There are a tons of options for mouse at this price range. Logitech mouse is usually my go to, but recently, I felt the build quality is kind of degraded and I disliked the loud clicking noise.
Then I found this mouse. UGREEN 90373. Weird name indeed. I mostly recognize Ugreen brand for phone accessories, but never have it for mouse. From the picture, the mouse is looking sleek. Most importantly, it says that it has silent-click feature. Something I was looking for at that time. Priced around Rp181,000 (US$10), I think it would be a good deal. If that's actually a bad product, then I will not be super disappointed.
So, how's it going now? (July 2026, 2 months after buying)
I really liked the mouse. So far, it says what it advertised.
Silent click? Checked. The evening work has been more peaceful than ever. It was so silent that my Macbook Pro M1 Pro keyboard is now a bit noisier when typing.
The build quality is amazing for the price. The click feels solid and responsive. I have been working with it for my Macbook Pro M1 Pro, and doing some work in Adobe apps, everything went well.
The form factor is also pretty good. Slightly thinner than common mouses, but not as thin as Apple's Magic Mouse. Therefore, not a big deal for daily use. No more extra bump when put into the bag as well. It looks pretty elegant.
Can't tell for gaming though. I never use mouse for gaming.
The durability is the thing that time will tell. While the battery still doing fine after 2 months use, the build quality may take more time to discover its flaws.

All in all, so far, it was a pleasing experience with this mouse. Is there be better wireless mouse in this $10 price range? Maybe, and that's for another day.
